Please keep in mind that any courses you might take this summer will be part of your college transcript and will count toward your cumulative GPA, so make sure you're prepared for however many hours you decide to take.
The deadline to change your entry term is Friday, April 22. After receiving your Baylor acceptance, students interested in Summer of Discovery will login to their goBAYLOR account and change their entry term to Summer 2022.The discount applies to cumulative class hours taken across both sessions.
Students may take a maximum of 8 hours in any single summer session. Take 10 or more hours at a discounted rate of $750 per semester hour and save $1,300 per semester hour. Take 7-9 hours at a discounted rate of $1,000.00 per semester hour and save $1,000 per semester hour. Take 6 hours or less at a discounted rate of $1,432.00 per semester hour and save $700 per semester hour. As a part of the Summer of Discovery program, courses are discounted from regular tuition, and students receive greater discounts as the number of classes taken increases. Orientation & Line Camp Combined Sessions Keep in mind that if you choose to do Baylor Line Camp (which we highly recommend), you must choose an alternating summer session for Summer of Discovery classes. Students may choose to attend one or both summer sessions. Summer classes are available across two summer sessions in 2022 - Summer 1 (June 3 - July 8) and Summer 2 (July 11 - Aug. Review the Summer of Discovery online course list and summer sessions in which they are offered. In addition, students will learn alongside new friends who will be a part of their lives on campus. Summer of Discovery classes will be taught by Baylor faculty in the supportive Christian environment that is a hallmark of a Baylor education.
